Tequila Pairing and Quesadilla Extravaganza:
Prepare to embark on a culinary journey that marries traditional flavors with a modern twist. Six carefully curated quesadilla stations will showcase a symphony of tastes, each paired with a tequila mixed drink that complements its unique profile.
Featured Chef
The featured chef for this event will be Charleen Ramirez-Mares, who spent 18 years as a staff member of DICP as teacher then principal of La Academia. During her tenure, Charleen worked hard to ensure her students felt seen, loved and valued by introducing activities that celebrated culture – world travel, community events, cooking classes, and even a tamalada at Christmas. Her return to DICP as a recent culinary graduate of Emily Griffith Technical College marks a special merging of two things she loves – the Parish and cooking. We couldn't be more excited to infuse her own cooking style at her Quesadilla & Mezcal tasting station at this new event. We look forward toCharleen bringing her unique blend of heart and expertise to our community once again!
