In January, 2011, DICP opened its first satellite location, Denver Inner City Parish at College View. The building was previously operated by Denver Parks and Recreation as a city recreation center. DICP brings a unique approach to keeping the recreation center open by not only continuing previously existing recreation choices, but also offering a wide range of wellness and community development options as well.
In addition to running our After School Program and Summer Day Camp, Night School and Parish Seniors, College View boasts recreational services, health and exercise programs and enrichment classes. Examples of these offerings are open recreation, zumba, team sports, square dancing, yoga, a computer lab and monthly community brunches.
